FOUNDER & CEO

Anthony Hama is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lakeside Development Company.  Over the course of a development career spanning 25 years, Mr. Hama has successfully completed more than 2 million square feet of commercial, residential and hospitality projects nationwide.  Prior to forming Lakeside in 2026, Mr. Hama was the President of Kingsbarn Development Opportunities, a Las Vegas based real estate company focused on ground-up commercial, multifamily and land development.  While at Kingsbarn, Mr. Hama completed projects valued at $500 million, across several property sectors including, quick service restaurants, student housing, single family lots and travel centers (truckstops).

Prior to joining Kingsbarn, Mr. Hama built a successful private development company, Marquis Development, which constructed and sold half a million square feet of commercial real estate and 250 single family homes and lots.  During the early 2000’s, Mr. Hama led the acquisition and development of several well-known Hawaii resort hotels including the Princeville Hotel in Kauai, HI and the Ko Olina Beach Villas in Honolulu, HI.  Mr. Hama started his real estate career in the investment banking industry at Smith Barney Inc. where he participated in several REIT offerings including the initial public offerings for AIMCO and Irvine Apartment Communities.  Mr. Hama received his BA in Economics from UCLA and his MBA from Cornell University.
